Photographer & Mechanical engineer

Currently, I am pursuing my bachelors of science in mechanical engineering at Northeastern University in Boston.

Outside of school, I am a fixer, thinker, and explorer. In my free time, I enjoy working on classic cars, experimenting with mechanical devices, scuba diving, and taking photographs.

Philosophy

In life, I seek to find peace in the imperfect present, finding understanding in that which is unknown.

My story

Begins in St. Paul, Minnesota where I spent most of my childhood growing up and becoming who I am today. My formative years were filled with car shows, museum trips, and at home DIY projects - this is where my passion for creating started.

A major influence in my life was my grandfather, Koichi Suga. He was the one who first introduced the idea of “fixing” to me when I would spend my summers living with him and my grandmother, Keiko Suga, in Osaka, Japan. This concept of tinkering was rooted deeply inside of him as a automotive mechanic and bodyman.

Aside from mechanical things, I find peace in competitive swimming, cycling, and running. That feeling of fighting your mind, when it wants to give up, and powering through is addictive to me and one of my greatest satisfactions in life.

Adventuring is one of my favorite activities and you can often find me hiking or mountain biking the Appalachian Mountain Range. Pictured here is me atop Mount Lafayette in New Hampshire!
